Seeta bint Abdul-Aziz Al Saud

Seeta bint Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud (also spelled Sita) (c. 1930 – April 13, 2011) was a Princess of the House of Saud royal family and a full-sister of the current King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah. She was the daughter of King Abdul-Aziz and Princess Fahda. She was married to Prince Abdullah bin Muhammad.[1][2] She was the mother of Prince Faisal (Minister of Education), Prince Fahd (Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation), and Princess Noura.[1][2]

She sponsored many charities within the Kingdom[1] and financed many research programs and family welfare projects.[1]

She died on April 13, 2011, after an undisclosed long illness.[1][3] Her funeral prayer was held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh the next day after Asr prayer.[3] It was attended by King Abdullah, Prince Nayef, Prince Salman, Prince Bandar and Prince Turki.[1] On April 17, President Barack Obama called Abdullah to convey his condolences.[4]
